Publications are one of the SEF's core tools. Our publications are produced in four ongoing series and can be ordered via this page:

GLOBAL TRENDS is a standard work containing facts, analyses and forecasts on key developments in global society. Prepared in collaboration with the Institute for Development and Peace, it is published every two years (only once in English as yet).

Publications in the Series ONE WORLD appear several times a year (generally only in German, with occasional special editions in English) and feature selected articles by leading academics and politicians. They provide background analyses on the conditions required for peace and development and point the way for constructive political action.

The SEF Policy Papers publish the views of noted experts on urgent issues in world development and provide recommendations for political action (in English and German).

SEF NEWS aims to give a concise and lively account of the debates and conclusions of the Foundation's major conferences and workshops and make them accessible to a wider public (in English and German).

In our electronic publication series Foreign Voices, foreign experts concisely comment on current topics of the Foundation's programme.

In addition to these five regular series, the SEF also produces special publications on an occasional basis.
